Defeat Exam Pressure
Educational assessment over the time has become a major aspect of life. From the 90s , when children studied to gain knowledge to the contrary now they are more focussed on marks. It has now become a platform of competition , even digits after decimal carry a-lot of value.
All this while , A child goes through immense pressure from the society and within, Have to complete notebook, manage revision test, manage other tests at tuition , self study , school and then they end up writing exam for the formal school. Each and every leader of future suffers anxiety and stress during exam days, Mental health deteriorates and since its bruises cant be seen its neglected.
Why exactly we freak out during exams? Lack of preparation, Lack of study material,
Time constraints and most importantly fear of failure which leads to
- Difficulty sleeping
- Anorexia nervosa bulimia
- Irritability and anger
- Difficulty concentration
- Nervousness and anxietya
Its high time we should normalise Exam anxiety and stress like that of a seasonal flu, to ensure healthy survival during these days one can follow the regime as followed
- Drink water frequently
- Stretch out often
- Make TO-DOs
- Focus more on the syllabus you have completed.
- 2-3-5-7 rule, Revise on 2nd 3rd and 5th day go for test on 7th day. By this way a topic will be stored in your long term memory.
- Take adequate diet
- Talk to your parents, friends and family regularly
- Sleep at-least for 8 hours
- Learn in chunks
- Prepare visual graphics for your notes
- Arrange your textbooks
- Plan your agendas a day before
